Naturopathic Medicine

Our practice is focused on rigorous analysis of your lab work, genetic predisposition, environment, and lifestyle. We work to understand the root cause of each patients condition and facilitate the body’s innate regenerative capacity. Without identifying and addressing the true cause of chronic disease, the best we can do is palliate and, while palliating symptoms can be important for immediate relief, it is not curative.

Naturopathic medical doctors (NMD) are trained in the safe and effective use of lifestyle medicine, pharmacognosy, physical therapies, and pharmaceutical medicines. They are the first-rate standard for holistic health care professionals and are experts in clinical pharmacognosy. NMDs spend more time with patients to investigate each case and will order comprehensive lab work based on a holistic view of disease. For example, many skin manifestations and autoimmune symptoms are contributed by underlying gastrointestinal dysfunction and psychological stress.

Considerate time is spent educating patients about their condition, how it developed, and why chosen treatments are important. The goal is to form an alliance in health rather than a reliance on the doctor. Based on patient intake, medical history, medication, physical exam, and lab results, we develop a highly personalized treatment plan for each patient.
